RATES

Original Music Production Package - $515/min
Rate is $210/min past 3 minutes.
Vocal Tuning / Timing / Mix is included. If you have your own tuned vocals, a $150 discount will be applied to the final invoice.
Includes ten (10) revisions, then $50 per revision.
Mixing is included and a reference master is provided free of charge.
Please note that I generally always mix my own productions, for creative control purposes. Arrangements can be made if you require your own mix engineer.

Original Motion Picture Score Composition & Production
Rate is generally 2-5% of the project budget, with the range depending on the assignments of rights, deadlines, and live musician recording budget. Please discuss the project details with me for the exact amount.

Professionally mastered by external engineer (Abbey Road Studios).
Loopable Background Music - $210 flat rate
Includes one (1) minute of original loopable music, suitable for stream or video BGM.
100% royalty free.

1:1 remake of original instrumental.

Cover Arranging & Production - $310/min
Includes changes in arrangement and orchestration at your request.
Examples of arrangement are: acoustic version, orchestral version, lofi, version, etc.

Instrumental Cover Arranging & Production - $210/min

Orchestral Recording Mix - $610 flat rate
Mixing of multitrack orchestra audio recording.
Includes audio editing (basic trimming & organization, source-destination, fades)
Up to 1500 tracks. Each additional 200 tracks are priced in increments of $70.

Vocal Mix (incl. tuning + editing) - $210 flat rate
Includes vocal tuning, timing, editing, and mix of up to 8 tracks.
Each additional track is priced at $15.
Vocal Mix (no tuning) - $120 flat rate

Each additional track is priced at $15.
Please Note:
I do not offer standalone vocal tuning / editing work.
ALL editing & mixing work includes three (3) revisions, with each additional revision after that priced at $50.
Exceptions to flat rate pricing may apply to tracks longer than seven (7) minutes.

All session recording rates (both remote and in-person) are determined by the CFM/AFM Sound Recording Labour Agreement.
Remotely recorded audio will be recorded in both stereo and mono. Audio recordings will be delivered at 48kHz/24bit, unless otherwise requested.
Please contact for pro-rata/shorter recording rates.
There is a 50% discount on all rates offered to charities and non-profit organizations registered in Canada and US.
All Rates are in US Dollars (USD). Billing in Canadian Dollars (CAD) available upon request or if applicable.
Accepted payments methods are: Paypal, Wise, and Interac e-Transfer (within Canada).

Production Work & Pricing
Poor quality recordings resulting in needing additional processing, including but not limited to: de-clipping, de-reverb, and de-bleeding may result in additional charges.
Listed rates may change based on the project's complexity, deadline, and copyright.
Commercial projects are priced on a case-by-case basis.
Commissioners are entitled to .wav renders of final mixes, reference masters, premasters, references, acapella, and full instrumental of projects. Requests for additional renders (stems, stage edits, etc.) may be subject to additional fees.
Privacy & Rights Management
I reserve commercial and personal use rights to my work unless otherwise agreed upon.
All information related to transactions will remain strictly confidential.

Q: How long does it take you to complete _____?
A: It depends on the length and complexity of the production, and how many other projects I’m currently working on. When we discuss your commission, a deadline will be agreed upon and I will adhere to it. Generally, an original track/cue ~3-4 minutes will take me about a week, and covers will take me 2-3 working days.
Q: Why don’t you offer Mastering services?
A: I am not a mastering engineer and therefore will not certify my mastering work claiming to be one. That said, I will always provide a “mastered” track for delivery, meaning at a mastered level, tested on multiple listening mediums, etc.
The objective of mastering is to ensure the track meets commercial playability standards and receives a professional second opinion. I may be able to do the former, but I can’t provide myself with a second opinion.
Q: Why don’t you offer standalone Vocal Tuning/Timing work?
A: It’s not something I particularly enjoy doing. However, I always edit/tune/time the vocals in my own productions, for artistic/quality reasons.
Q: Do you retain the rights to your productions?
A: This depends on the client’s request, and whether the production is original music, a cover, etc. If I have contributed significantly in the composition process, I will likely request a certain % of the rights. All these factors will be discussed and indicated in a legal agreement.
Q: Can I request the project files for my commission?
A: Typically no, because preparing a session for opening on other computers is very time consuming. However, exceptions can be made depending on circumstances, provided the project is completed.
